About Me
I am a software developer with a passion for teaching as well as building web applications focused on an excellent user-experience. I transitioned to software from a career in search engine optimization, content-creation, and copywriting because I saw how powerful it is to be able to design applications from the ground-up to serve the very niche needs of each company.
I have a passion for clear communication, both written and verbal, which makes me an great team member. I've also worked for years with small businesses, which I love, in large part, because I crave new challenges and enjoy wearing many hats and having insight into how my contributions are helping my company grow.
Outside of development, I love ultra-light backpacking through Idaho, singing 4-part women's harmony with various groups in the Treasure Valley, and snuggling my bunnies.

Portfolio
Working with a team as well as on my own, I've built and deployed several applications using Vue3 frontend and Node.js backend with a MongoDB database including Supper-Setter, a meal-planning website.
The React Tower project below is an event-planning site written in React front-end and C# .NET back-end that I partner-coded during my time as a Teaching Assistant at Boise CodeWorks.
I deployed both of these applications on a Digital Ocean Droplet.
The Pinterest Clone site below was also written in C# .NET back-end and Vue front-end using a MySQL database.
Pinterest clone was deployed on an AWS EC2 instance, which included configuring a local MySQL database.
CraftRanker is a passion project I started with my business partner in 2021. We authored a book together teaching Etsy Sellers how to effectively sell on Etsy's platform and created over 30 hours of video content that we were serving on a site I created using a web editor. Recently, I decided to recreate our site using Flask server and Vue3 front-end as well as a Sqlite3 database.
